Usage indications

This drug is used for some bacterial infections treatment.

Application mode

Take this drug on doctor’s prescription only. Study instruction manual to select exact dose.

• Keflex is for oral intake
• take full course of this drug. This drug intake stop is prohibited even in case of improvements.

Drug class and mechanism of action

Keflex is an antibiotic, cephalosporin. Drug relaxes bacteria cellular walls and stops its formation by thus destroying them

Missed doses

Take this drug as soon as you remember about it. If you remembered about this drug intake during next dose, avoid missed dose and continue with your usual schedule. Double dosage intake is prohibited.

Storage

Store Keflex at room temperature and keep away from humidity and light and children.

Warning / precautions

Ceflex intake is prohibited in case of allergy to any of its components and other cefalosprine antibiotics (cefuroxym).

Side effects

Any drugs can cause side effects but most of the people do not feel their influence. 

Consult with your doctor in case if any of the following side effects persist for a long time:

• diarrhea, giddiness, headache, stomach upset, muscle pain, stomach pain and tiredness.

Contact your doctor immediately in case if any of the following side effects arise:

• heavy allergic reaction (rash, nettle rash, breathing difficulties, chest constraints, mouth, face, lips or tongue); increased agitation, blurred consciousness, dark urine, urination difficulties, fever, hallucination, skin redness or edema, blisters, attacks, heavy or bloody diarrhea, heavy stomach pain or spasms, heavy tiredness, unusual bruises or bleedings, unusual vaginal pain, smell or discharges, eyes or skin yellowing.
