Drug Uses

Abana functions by reducing the sensitivity of the heart to adrenergic stimulation and thereby improves the contractility of the heart. This exerts a positive inotropic action which protects the heart.

Mode of Application

The ideal dosage for Abana is 2 to 3 tablets taken twice daily with a glass of warm water. However, you may refer to the label or contact your physician for the correct dosage instructions.

Drug Class & Mechanism

Abana is used to prevent the onset of cardiac neurosis. It is a cardiac tonic which guards the heart against circulatory problems and reduces anxieties which lead to the condition.

Missed Dosage

If you are on a regular dosage and have missed a dose, then take it as soon as you remember. Alternatively, you may choose to skip the dose and continue with your regular dosage.

Storage

Store it at room temperature in a cool dark place away from the reach of children.

Precautions
